Apart from organizing the conventional funeral, we organize also the cremation of the deceased. Since 2006, allowed in Greece with the adoption of the relevant law (3448/2006, Article 35) cremation, to those who allow their religious beliefs.To be the cremation procedure legal is necessary the prior expression desire of deceased or corresponding declaration relatives by blood or marriage, up to the fourth degree.
Because in Greece there is no proper infrastructure, the cremations performed in the crematorium of Sofia in Bulgaria.
We undertake all the procedures they need, until the family receive the urn.
The transfer of remains is done by our own vehicle (hearse) and we provide the opportunity for a person from the family to accompany the deceased without charge . The transport of other persons may be done either by hire coach, or by plane
The duration of cremation is between 1.5 and 2 hours.
